So, I'm giving this whole personal blog thing a try. I started blogging last year ( to document my Breast Cancer 3 Day journey. I had a very clear purpose at the outset: I would keep track of my training and tell hilarious stories about the misadventures along the way, as well as promote fundraising opportunities. Sometimes it was hard to make myself sit down and type, and I'm wondering if it will be easier or more difficult with a blog that's just about... me. What's going on, what I'm enjoying and not enjoying, and what I care about. I'm diving in mainly because blogging can be a great outlet and a way to connect with people that are going through the same things you are, or even just enjoy the same reality shows that you do (Real Housewives, anyone?).

Full disclosure: I don't know if I'll be able to stick with it, and I don't know just how often I'll be posting. And seriously? I will never start a post lamenting the fact that I haven't posted in so long, so sorry, been so busy, etc. (That's a little boring, yes?)

There we have it. Welcome to Magnolia Kelly! As Margaret and Helen always say, thanks for stopping by. I mean it.
